1. World´s Largest Cuckoo Clock

The 1. World's Largest Cuckoo Clock can be found in Schonach, at the village exit towards Triberg. The idea was to make it as big as a small Black Forest house - inside you will find a handmade wooden cuckoo clockwork. Builder and clockmaker Josef Dold created one of the biggest exemplars that can be found in the Black Forest.

Along the Deutsche Uhrenstraße (German Clock Road), the 1. World's Largest Cuckoo Clock is one of many interesting attractions around the Black Forest clocks and the tradition of clockmaking.

Built between 1977 and 1980, this cuckoo clock has made it into the Guinness Book of Records in 1984. Since 2000, the clock is considered the 1. Weltgrößte Kuckucksuhr (1. World's Largest Cuckoo Clock).
